When in 1925, the technician Georg Hoffmann applied for a patent for his first needle bearing, he could not yet know that 5 years later a French company called NADELLA would develop a technology for industrializing the needle bearing based upon his patent.
In the next coming years NADELLA became one of the pioneers for needle bearing components and continues today as one of the market leaders. During the first years of the Company needle bearing production was mainly dedicated to automotive sector.
The start of the history of success of NADELLA was in 1930 in the small French town Rueil-Malmaison. From there NADELLA developed to one of the leading suppliers of needle bearings, with main offices and manufacturing plants in French, Belgium, United Kingdom, Germany, Italy and Switzerland. |
